I just finished babysitting a friends 16 month old littler girl. I had a ball. She is so sweet! I hadn't actually seen her since before Christmas and it just amazes me how much children grow when you haven't seen them in a few months. She is walking and saying words. She understands a lot of what you say to her. The last time I babysat was when she was six month old. She was a good baby back then, but she is a really good toddler now. She didn't cry when her mom walked out the door to leave. She was easily entertained. She was even really good at letting me know what she wanted, like when she was hungry, wanted to go outside to play, or needed her diaper changed.

Tonight was the first night that Rudy and I did a full workout at the YMCA. I feel really good now. I had forgotten how much better I feel after I exercise. I did 30 minutes on the treadmill, 15 minutes on the stair machine, 10 minutes on the elliptical, then Rudy wanted to go swimming and I wanted to watch the last 15 minutes of American Idol (I hate to admit that I watch that), so I did another 15 on the treadmill. Our YMCA is so cool. It has personal TVs on almost every cardio machine. I plugged in my headphones and went to town. I was able to keep my hear rate around 140, which for me is right between the weight loss zone and the cardio zone. The time flew by. Rudy did 30 minutes on the elliptical, 15 on the row machine, then went to the pool. All in all it was a good night.
